850 Turbo Wagon Serv. Light
Hi All !!
Well with preditable timing, my service light came on when 10" of snow plonked itself on the ground, but as my feet get warmer and the snow melts, I'd like to reset it! I think I found something on here before, something about resetting the light with the boxes down near the washer filler bottle.
Two silly questions, does the light always come on at start up and then turn off after a couple of minutes and secondly, I think in the original post, you pressed the button and watched the light etc BUT also, used a jumper between the 2 boxes, what do I use to do that, anything in particular?
Apologies for the somewhat ignorant question.
Thanks,

Done - Isn't it nice to have something EASY to do!!
The car was last serviced at 140k, belts and tensioner included, I'm now on 149k, oil changed inbetween of course, I guess I should try and compile a list of 'musts' for a service when I see warm weather on the horizon!!
Thanks again Tech.

Hi Robert!
Thanks for the useful list.
I think my trans fluid is good and likewise coolant flush not so long ago, but the rest makes perfect sense!!
In all the cars that I have owned over the hundreds of years that I've been on this planet, I don't think I have ever not even once, been pro-active about a T-Stat. So, maybe I should make that a first!!
Again, many thanks and roll on (has - as if) some warm weather!!
