97 850 Low beams inoperative
 

My 21 year old son's low beams quit completely on his 97 850. I'm out of state, so can't look at the car. Does it have low and high beam relays? If so, are they interchangeable for testing purposes? He is driving with his high beams on all the time presently. He changed the bulbs, and fuses. If someone can help, please let me know of the locations of the relays. Otherwise, I would think the next thing would be the multi-function switch. Thanks, Joe

My guess would be a bad switch. Not sure where the realy is or if it's swapable.

light relay is swappable, but its BURIED in the dash. It's below the fuse box (the one thats under the hood) WAY up on the firewall. IIRC, the relay is black with white writing on it.
