I hope whoever was in the car is ok. Looks real beat up and damage says rollover.

Interior bits might be ok.

For anyone who has a dealers license can pick up for scrap metal price and part out.

Heads up for anyone who doesn't, going through salvage auto is an option, but expect to pay broker fees, even at the lowest bid you would get the car for around $500.

Heck, I'd just love to get my hands on those wheels. And, it's in OKC. Not a far drive. Maybe someone will buy it and part it out.

Wow! A lot of things about that car looks clean.

I doubt the mileage is correct due to the looks of the roof liner. But the seats and other things looks real good.

I will agree the mileage is most likely off. But I don't think by much.

My yellow shows 81k but has actually 10k more on the computer.

From the looks of the car i would say it doesn't have more then 30k over the odometer.

And out of everything on my yellow, what looks the worse is the roof liner.

Mine looks pretty much identical to that one. Really just due to the car sitting and age.

Heck, maybe the thing does have 116,000 whatever. The interior looks spotless, other than the glass and blown air bags. LOL

My car obviously isn't a yellow, but I also can admit to the headliner issue, which my car has (and has had for quite some time). I took the same route as the previous owner of that wrecked yellow T5R: staples.

They seem to work alright, and if done properly, staples don't look too bad. At least most people don't spend a lot of time looking at the headliner, so most people who ride in my car never notice my repair.

Overall, the headliners in 850s just don't seem to hold up. At the 106K miles that wrecked car is indicating, I'm not surprised the headliner needed the staple job.

My head liner is still in good shape. I think extream heat like they have in the south makes the foam deteriorate faster.

I don't like them sagging. When they do, I can usually see the foam raining down into the car every time a bump in the road is hit. So I get them fixed asap. I don't want to breath that crap.

Says it has 106858, but it does say exempt. Also i bought a t5r salvage from this site for myself and one for a friend.

His said the odometer worked and was at 124k it did not work.

The inside is very clean though. seats alone are worth it. my worry is that the wood laminate might be cracked since the car rolled over.

If you had a dealer license you can get the car for scrap yard prices. without cheapest you could get it through salvage auto be around 450.

There is a Volvo salvage yard in OKC so my bet is that they will grab it as soon as they can.

That makes sense.

My car has been exposed to a lot of heat over its lifetime, probably causing the headliner to fall down more readily, since that foam backing was just crumbing to dust.

The Biohazard stickers tell a sad sad story. :(:(

I think whoever was driving it has a lot more problems then loosing a nice T5R.

That's on there due to the car leaking chemicals all over it, not like a normal car where they usually stay contained.

Only main fluid that I would have worried about is the anti freeze all over everything. I doubt it actually got in the interior of the car.

The seats are definitely in great shape from what I can see.

Engine is most likely toast, most stuff is really due to the car having rolled over.

Man, I have read a lot of stories about people rolling Volvo's a walking away. I put a 960 on 2 wheels twice (same incident) and walked away without a scratch.

My headliner sags. Too dang cold here to do anything about it right now.

Couple nearby salvage yards have some decent looking V70s with the same color headliner.... and the glue is still intact! Would one of those fit in my car?

John, you can use the V70 headliner, I did with my wagon. Certainly are more fasteners holding it in place than I was expecting! I much preferred the grey headliner to the tan 850's came with.
