anyone tried blue inj. with a stock computer?

I'm getting ready to upgrade the turbo and get an ARD Blue but I have a set of blue injectors just begging to go in.

Has anyone tried to swap in blues on a stock computer ?? Can the stock computer adjust fuel trim to run them or is it too much without the ECM being remapped ??

You'll just run rich as ****. Those are big injectors. Completely unnecessary unless you're putting in a huge turbo. No, your ecu won't be able to adjust. Up to a K24, Whites are completely fine. I know a few cars making over 300whp on whites.

edit, if you're getting a new tune, why wouldn't you just have Lucky tune it for blues instead of hoping it can adjust to it??? What turbo are you using?

Well ... after a lot of talk I decided to go for the 19T. I have the OBX exhaust and a 16T with an angled flange housing and I'm trying to get the ambition to head out to WI to a yard that has a couple of the R style exhaust manifolds. I checked into a lot of the options on the ECM and it looks like going the ARD route is the best choice and the "blue" tune would be suitable for what I'm looking at doing.
BUT, I have the injectors just sitting there and I'd live to try them. I figure it's way too much and that isn't including the fact I already have my fuel rail at 14PSI over stock but I thought I'd ask just in case anyone had done it and it had been driveable. :( When I dropped in the pressure regulator I was a little concerned but didn't notice any drop in mileage or performance. Haven't really used the bottom forth of accelerator yet, still working on beefing everything up first.

It's getting warmer and I have to do the PCV system and I picked up the phenolic intake spacer at the same time, have a new starter and alternator and I'm itching to start hanging parts. Plus, if I have to pull the rail anyway for the PCV now would be a good time to drop them in. Same reasoning in waiting on the exhaust manifold and 19T before I pull the back side apart and install the OBX. Well that and it doesn't bolt up to the conical 15T I have now.

For a 300 dollar beater it's turning into a bit of a project !

I'm trying to take it apart as few times as possible and I'm trying to learn as much from others as possible on what works so I'm not replacing new stuff with newer stuff. Problem is it's my main ride so when I do pull it down I have to have all the stuff on hand so I can get it back together and get to work :D
