Default bogging during take off/check engine light

Hey guys...I got a 97 850 GLT w/the turbo engine...i really like the car, but if i wanted to accelerate off the line it hesitates and seems like it boggs before it starts going and very noticable inclinations of the power band...any suggestions???...also this may relate to the problem...i have a check engine light on with these codes (not word for word but...) *bank one system to rich*...and also *bank 1 system to lean* i'm guessing an oxygen sensor but anyone with any similar problems? or suggestions? any info is appreciated!

Sounds like you are pretty close on your guess.I would say that you need to replace both of the O2 sensors. Also check very good for a vaccum leak. You can spray around the intake manifold with some carb cleaner while it is running.Listen for idle change if the idle changes there is a leak.I would also clean the throttle body good.

i don't no...i dont' really think its that....also we've had about a week of wet weather here and some wierd stuff is happening to my car!! 1st parked in the rain i come to turn my car on my sunroof tilts on its own...when i close it it would close but then it opened even more on its own, so i thought my switch is bad so right there i pull off the switch, and turn the key on again...and there went my sunroof again even with the switch disconnected! Came to the conclusion that water had gotten in somewhere and shorted something out, because i parked in it in a dry spot and it was fine after a few hours...2nd I cam to start my car up after a really cold night, and it was misfiring for the first 2-3 minutes of warm up....and under no load acceleration it was clearly misfiring. Any ideas to what it would be?

Do you know when the last tune up was performed? That would be my first suggestion.Tune up including plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter. Most of the time missfiring is from bad cap, rotor and wires on those cars.If it hasn't been done in a while that might help your fuel milage also.

well i no i have cleaned out the plugs about 3k ago, i and the cap rotor points...but my only guess would be the wires..because at the time the plugs, cap and rotor didn't look to bad

Could be The wires only but if the dist. cap and rotor is original you are pretty much at the age to where it needs to be replaced.
