Bonnet saftey latch
 

Hello all, long time lurker. First time poster. I was wondering if anyone in the US has had luck replacing the Bonnet saftey latch handle. I've searched high and low for it, but with no success. I currently don't use the front grill to just keep it simple to open my hood since the little plastic black handle is missing on my car. I was wondering about any of your guys' work around for a cleaner look. I'll try to attach a picture as to what I'm refering to. I did figure out that this is the part number as well NLA-9133345

parts like the hood latch are best sourced used. I'd start by searching on eBay then if you don't find anything you can search recycle yards in the US/CAN via car-part.com.

I did this for my son's S40 - I think the latch cost me $25 used via ebay.
