I want to test whether the 'OFF/AUTO' A/C switch on my 850's ECC is working.

I've looked at all the wiring diagrams I can find and none of these diagrams show (or even list) this particular switch in any of the A/C control circuits (and the same for the recirculation switch alongside of it).

Can anyone help me out with a bit of information here?

 

Do you have ECC or MCC?
I will have to look in the next couple of days have company.

The A/C in my wagon is Electronic Climate Control (ECC).

This is the only real, as opposed to system, wiring diagram I can find for the 850 ECC. It is for the '93 model but I don't think a great deal would change to later years.

Apologies for it being a bit small but it was all I could get on. The switch is at D28.

I can see the A/C switch switch in the wiring diagram.

This now gives me something to go on and I don't think there would be too much difference (if any) between the 93 and 95.

Your help is really appreciated and I'm always astounded at the amount of information members of this forum are able to make available to each other.

I have a 96....does anyone know........if this relay goes bad will it kill the engine?
