Hi everyone! I'm new here in the forum and have a question on my CEL. It has been popping up the 241 code. I would reset it and sometimes it would last several days before coming back. Sometimes it pops back on next day. Does this mean I need to replace my EGR or a good cleaning would do. Any advise from those who have experienced this will be highly appreciated.

 

You can try cleaning it.

I am assuming that is what the code is for.

I don't have my book home.

turned out to be a bad elbow going to the egr. no more cel.
