Connections under the Battery Tray and Air Intake...
New subscriber and completely stuck. I have a 1995 850 non-turbo 2.4L with manual transmission. I just had to replace my clutch and clutch slave cylinder and it's taken me three full days to get the car torn down and back together (complete rookie). Unfortunately, when I got started I wasn't very methodical and I just started removing stuff to get to the transmission boxI first started this job three weeks ago and can't remember what I did excatly. I removed the battery tray and air filter housing. I didn't mark anything and am now stuck trying to get the last stuff done so I can drive again. Does anyone have a picture of what's underneath the battery tray and air intake? I don't know how the cruise control device connects to the tray (does it go underneath?). I'm expsecially stuck on how the vacuum hoses all connect in that vicininty (left front area by the battery). Icheckedthe Haynes manual and it doesn't cover this area at all. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff

RE: Connections under the Battery Tray and Air Intake...
I have the Haynes manual and have requested the Chiltons one from my public library. I'm unaware of any other Haynes manual besides the general one for most repairs on the 850. The Haynes manual (made 4 years after the car was made) says that the cruise control information wasn't available in time to print. I'm hoping someone out there has more detailed info that they can share.
