Coolant Leak Near Firewall
i replaced my heater core and the hoses in my 1995 volvo 850 turbo and thought it would be fine but for some reason it is leaking out antifreeze of this huge hose on the other side of the motor looks like my over flow but im not so sure it is a hose coming off the fire wall by my passenger side and it is not drive able i have no clue why it is doing this...can you think of any reasons why this hose is doing this...the hose goes staright down from the top of the firewall to my frame basically and when it is running is the only time it starts dumping antifreeze out...
it starts smoking and over heating i need help!

I would try posting your question on the 850 sub-forum as it gets more traffic. I'm sure someone knows the answer. I don't have the 850, but it sounds like either one of your hoses is cracked/split or a hose clamp is loose. When the engine gets hot the cooling system pressurizes and coolant is leaking out of your leaking hose. Find the leak and you've found your problem.
Hi Austin, welcome to the forum.
A photo would be due here because that will help us see what you are referring to, unless you can find a photo to link to on-line somewhere.
I don't know if you have LH drive or RH drive car, no idea where you are located. Would love to help, help us help you.

What you are describing is the drain hose, there are two that drain water from the cowl. Problem is they aren't under pressure and they don't carry any antifreeze. They are just like gutters on a house. Just to drain off water.
If there is a problem with the new heater core it's possible it's leaking inside the plenum housing and you're seeing your coolant exiting out of the condensate drain tube for the AC
It usually would leak into the foot well if there was that much leaking.
