Creak from front driver's side

My car has developed a small creak the past few days that only occurs when load is put on the engine; as in when I start it and when I start to accelerate and the engine "shifts" positions. It appears to be coming from right in front of me. I have a feeling it may be my rear engine mount since I couldn't replace it when I was doing the swap because I don't have an air compressor down here and I couldn't get it with a breaker bar. Just wondering if anyone thinks it could be something else. It's a small creak that occurs for a second as load is put on the engine, can't hear it unless the radio is off, so it's not super loud or anything. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any other thoughts.

Thanks.

The engine mount would be my guess as well. If it isn't that, id guess it's one of the front struts or strut mounts.

The strut assemblies are relatively new, which I guess doesn't really mean anything, but I'll check those. I'm just trying to think of what else would cause a creak only when putting load on the engine to cause it to rock a bit, and the rear mount is the only thing I can think of.

Get the engine mount. It's cheap for what it does.

Edit:

oops, i thought you were takling about the upper engine mount. have you got that one yet? I would say make sure the rear engine mount is torqued down correctly.

Yeah, I have the poly mount and the firewall mount is new. The rear one never came out of the car. I couldn't get the net that holds it to the subframe, so unless the upper nut came loose, it hasn't moved. Is there anything else back there that could possible cause "creaking" engine movement? I don't know what else it would be, everything back there is new except the rear engine mount.
