blinker, shifter, and abs question

blinker, shifter, and abs question
OK so I have read a ton of useful stuff. I will try and pull any codes tomorrow if I can find my friends obd2 reader. But here is the problem. My 95 850 turbo (all stock) just suddenly started showing the abs light once and a while. When this happens on startup I also have to use the park override switch as it won't shift out of park. Another thing is when driving the blinkers don't work but the hazard does. This happened today. I drove it a couple of miles and pulled over. I turned off the car and turned it back on and the abs light went away, the shifter worked fine and the blinkers were normal. What gives? Is it really my Park Neutral switch, abs module and turn signal going at the same time? This seems hightly unlikely to me. There must be a common source for this right? Any help is greatly appreciated as I would like to fix before the problem gets worse.
Thanks all in advance.
Kyle

RE: blinker, shifter, and abs question
ok iv been waiting for this!
my 850 has a very similar problem. this ONLY happens wen the engine is running, not just key in the ON position. i loose the following functionality all at once: indicators, headlights (but not side lights) and the abs light comes on. theres nothing wrong with abs as far as im aware, the hazards always work too.
this happens about 4 times a day, fixed by repeated banging around the fuse box area! wen i get a torx head screwdriver i think il find a loose relay or sumthing.
the other odd thing i found is that the little green instrument light near the headlight switch stops. when the car's working fully, that light is always on, even with headlights off. its becoming dangerous cus it can happen wen driving in the dark and i loose my headlights!
il keep us all posted!

RE: blinker, shifter, and abs question
Confirmed: its the ignition switch barrell.
I found the prob after a mate suggested it was that while i had my head in the footwell pulling out relays!
It seems that after starter motor is ran, the rest of the car does not come back on again because the key is not being turned back enough. Moving the back to the Ignition/ON position throws a relay that brings things back on. I guess that this is what turns off the car's unnecessary electrics while cranking, then back on when started.
If all i have to do is fiddle with the key, im not going to start taking that apart just yet...
