I'm having an issue with one of my 850R's. Accelerating from a standstill, the car is a little down on power. When it hits about 3,000 rpm the power comes on full boost. Could this be a problem with the bypass valve on the turbo?

I'd start by looking at the vacuum lines to the boost controller. That said, check out Youtube for RobertDIY's vids explaining the blowoff value and underboosting.

vacuum lines are good. I did see Robert's video which made me think of the CBV.
