BTW, I have a bad left front ball joint. Saw that they have aftermarket control arm w/ball joint for $55 compared to $125. Are the aftermarket control arm/ball joint ok?

On volvospeed someone said it was only good on fcponline not groton which has higher prices than our beloved groton and eeuro.

 

I called them and they said it does not work at fcpgroton.com, but it does on foreign parts .com which I could not find. Their prices have increased significantly since June 6. I had a list of stuff from that date, but never placed the order. Put the same items in the cart today and the prices was quite a bit higher.

I got the same email. I think I did buy some parts for the Porsche from foreigncarpartsonline.com which may be why I am on the list. It is kinda bad PR when the email comes from fcpgroton and they won't honor it. I need to buy a bunch of stuff for the Volvo fleet and I was going to do it next week, before the end of the month to take advantage of the savings - I guess I will be shopping around elsewhere.

Please let me know where you can find parts for your Volvo cheaper than FCPGroton (other than eeuroparts)! Always good to have options!

 

It depends on the part but for OEM parts www.thevolvopartsclub.com is very competitive. They kill FCP on control arms and have free shipping over $50.00. The only problem with them is that they never seem to have all of the parts listed on the site that I need to complete a given job. I have also had good luck with eEuroparts so long as you stay away from aftermarket stuff.

Ok, wow that took a while with this dialup service I'm on. So I'm getting my brake pads from volvoparts.com and everything else from fcpgroton.

 

When I try th link for the site I get:

It's an actual Volvo dealership in Olympia, WA. I have called them and they will ship about any part but only offer a few with internet pricess. I have gotten tuneup parts from them several times.
