fuel pump removal

Im trying to change out my fuel pump. I cant figuire out how to get the fuel lines off though. if someone could give some tips and maybe pics it would be apperciated

The outer part of the sleeve needs to be slide away from the pump then the hose should slide off. I use a pair of 90 degree needle nose pliers to slide them off.
