Help! Trying to replace front o/s fender

Can anyone help me?

I am due to replace the o/s fender on my 850 estate due to rust.

I can see the top retaining bolts and this is easy access under the hood but how do i get to the fixings behind the front bumper? Do I need to take out the lights?

Secondly, I need to take out the black splash guards and see they are held in place with rivets. Surely I will break them to get the splash guard off so how do I replace the guard?

Appreciate any help.

Thanks

the main mount for the front skin is the black/grey top piece. It attaches at the top and bottom with Torx screws. I have been successful in removing them without removing the headlights so I say its do-able. The sides are held on by a 10mm screw which you can access from underneth the car. The lower skin/valance/airdam snaps into the black/grey bumper cover then is held in place by the rivets in the wheel wells (yes you have to drill/grind the heads off). Once done the bumper cover assembly slide off. If you look at my gallery there are several picturs that might help you see what your up against with the parts off the car.

You dont take the wheel wells out, only release the four or so rivets that hold onto the front skin. I used a die grinder on mine but have used a drill in the past, the grinder was way easier because the rivets dont spin. The pop rivet gun can be bought at most tool stores or online. I think I saw one at Home Depot. Rivets come from the dealership.
