Hi guys new member with a 94 850 here
Just picked up a 94 850 to be my snow/crappy weather vehicle. I have a Lexus IS-F as well. Picked it up from someone I work with, 160,000 miles but drives really well, I'm still surprised at how quiet the car is when going over bumps on the road, especially for an 18 year old car!. Anyways still learning about them from you guys. Mine didn't come with records but before the guy that I acquired it from bought it for his son (who later decided he didn't want a 5 speed) it was apparently owned by a Volvo mechanic. There is a sticker under the hood saying the timing belt was replaced at 140k in 2008 so I should be good to go there. All the windows, lights and locks work just fine. Clutch feels good although I'm not sure if its still the original. New tires and new brakes...so far I enjoy driving it and I even drove it to work a few times this week even though it was nice out, its fun having a 5 speed again
Anyways hope to learn a lot from you guys ..I'm going to clean her up real good hopefully this week and I'll post a picture or two.

lol thanks for the warm welcomes. I am pretty much a n00b when it comes to working on cars but I am mechanically inclined and from what I've read this car isn't too difficult to work on (I wouldn't touch anything under the hood of my F). As long as nothing major breaks like a tranny or engine I think with the help of you guys I could fix it

My only regret is that there isn't a limited slip differential available for the automatic which at some point will make me seriously consider a manual swap.
I'd rather have two hands on the wheel or one on my coffee or the lady next to me rather than shifting but to each their own.
