How Do I Remove A-Pillar trim?
 
I am planning to install a Parrot kit into my son's 850- I will need to run the michrophone cablefrom under the dash up the a-pillar to the overhead lights -need to remove a-pillar trim and then overhead lights/plastic panel .

Anyone can help?

the car is 14 y. old and am afraid to break plastic trim ifremoved wrong way.

It pretty much just pulls off. Easiest way is to pull down the seal first then slide fingers in and pop it off.

Pop off the two light covers with a screwdriver or plastic pry tool. Then you will see 2 small torx bits screws in the light openings 1 in each opening, back out those 2 screws and carefully pull it out. Nothin to it...

Tech, I also need to pull off the B pillar covers too, the material is coming off and I'd like to reglue it down. It's making my S80 look pretty bad. Also any advice on what kind of glue to use to glue the headliner like material back on to the pillars?

btw: the two screws you have to remove for the overhead console are #10 torx. If you dont already own a set of torx bits and you plan on doing work on your volvo, you need to buy a set.
