It's good to be warm!!!

All winter long I've been driving around with luke-warm heat. I've been considering changing the thermostat because the temp gauge never went as high as I thought it should. Today was sunny and warm (in NY standards that means it was 30 F) so I decided to change it. In 5 minutes the gauge went to the 3 o'clock position and I realized that the 84 degree setting was going to blow me out of the car.
It's amazing what $18 and 10 minutes can do to a car. I wish I would have changed it 2 months ago.

yup, I don't care what anyone says, I've owned 20 different cars over the years, and my 850 cranks heat in the really cold weather (I do live in the great white north), and it does it so much faster than any other vehicle I've owned. And the thermostat is one of those key items to make it so.
