Could altitude have done this? Since I'm in Utah, compared to WA, would that make a difference?

Edit: Today is my first day that I'm able to work on it. I just took it back to take a look and I see nothing wrong! I'm still trying to figure out where exactly the leak is though. When I'm standing still in drive I'm sitting at a -12PSI, when I should be at -18. At normal Idle I'm at -16 when I should be at -22 through -24.

I'm also not even getting any decent boost pressure. I've seen as high as 7, when I should be boosting up to 12 right now.

If you can get someone to sit in the car with it in gear and Brakes on. Have them push the gas with it in gear and boost it up and you check the hoses for leaks while it is under load.

So far no leaks visible. I tore a lot of the hoses off and check themselves. I washed everything off, so no i'm wiaitng for it to dry

Would there be any other cause of this? the only ones i haven't tested is the one on the turbo and the TB

The bypass valve diaphram might be torn causing bleed off.

Very possible. On the turbo between the turbo and motor is a metal plate with a hose going to it. It also has 3 screws that is the bypass valve.

You would have to replace the diaphram.

Argh! I just put back the IC piping and I haevn't seen any difference. Although instead of -16 im at -18PSI at start, hen I should be at -22.

How could i test the bypass? Anything else?

Sorry but you have to remove the diaphram and inspect it.

Alright. I have to find a way to take it off then. I found it, i just don't know where to look for the screws.

EF MY LIFE. Well I'll just take the hose off tomorrow to see if i can find the leak that way. This is still annoying the crap out of me. It seemed like it was acting normal for a midnight stroll to Autozone for an OBDII scanner. No codes, yet. Maybe just the EGR one still might come on later.

No one has answered me this though. Im in Utah, aprox 4500ft above sea level. Would this be effecting my vacuum levels?

Edit: I'm an idiot. Fixed (CEL light)

Would a loose plug cause this? Also, my ABS light is coming on way more often now.

Is there a link to how to repair the ABS module?

And I took it for a few spins today. It cruses fine, but I'm still not at ease with this leak. Plugs are fine, as I saw no oil or gasoline in the holes. I took some carb cleaner, sprayed it anywhere possible there could be a leak and I noticed no difference. I got the suggestion from a friend, as the RPMs should rise, correct?

Would there be any other way of checking for a crack or leak of some sort? I checked the bypass valve, kind of. I took off the line leading twords it, plugged that and the nipple and saw no difference.

Any other ideas? When I go to WOT on the freeway, I peak at 9PSI, then it drops down to about 6-8
