Hmmm, you have a good point here... which kind of worries me.
But, how long of a period of carbon build-up are we talking about here? Because my T5 has been an oil-consumer since I own it. I just checked and added oil when necessary ... It's not much, and I never found a leak, so ...

Last week I replaced the spark plugs; two were pretty consistent in 'not wanting to come out'. The worst one took me about 50 minutes of fiddling and that one was also soaking with oil ...
So I cleaned the holes as good as possible, new plugs went in easily.
Result is that the engine runs a tad more fuel efficient, but this monday, suddenly that little orange light came on. And has been lighting up since ...
