I was thinking bout doing the same with the grill since its pretty much the only chrome thing on the car.
S70driveryour car looks hotttt!!!!! I love the headlights in the 3rd pic. Thanks a lot for all the great info this is going to help out a lot. I’m not looking to spend a lot of money into the car, just some simple modifications to get it look a little "unique" I suppose you can say.

Here is a photoshopped painted black grille. It actually doesn't look half bad. I prefer this to the aftermarket grill. (I'm not an aftermarket grill guy, period)

If you want to paint your grille use Plastidip in the spray can. You will be greatly pleased.

And thank you, I put hard money and time into making my car look the way it does.

Jimmy, very nice job on the lights as well, they look sharp.

You really have improved your knowledge & skills in such a short period of time.

Cheers,

Those headlights on that blue 850 are called Jewel headlights.

They can be bought on EBAY from the seller's,

cellaccessories2k7

autolampsplus

karparts57

They come in Chrome and Black. You can also pick these headlights up from, DTMwerks and also AutoRice. And also PartsForVolvosOnline. I do believe I have a few of these sites listed in my VolvoForum Resources Thread in the General Volvo area.

You haven't seen those headlights on a V70R. Those Jewel Headlamps are only available for the 850 models.

You might have seen the headlights I have on a V70R and or the what is called the Jewel headlamps from the C70 models found on Viva Performances website.

^Oh you're right. They are slightly different.

They have the LED strip horizontally and they're projectors. Either way, they look really really good.

The Jewel 850 headlamps have the 4 or 5 LED's that are in the middle of the LOW and HIGH beams and they are verticle. They are not projectors.

The 70 series projectors are projectors in the LOW beam and a regular reflector HIGH beam. There are no LED's in the 70 series projector headlights. There is a light strip at the bottom but it uses a regular type bulb.

You may say there isn't a difference between the U.S. Spec and Euro Spec but there is and there is a big price difference as well.

And then you have the E-codes for each one.

Really like those jewell headlights, but I like the Volvo slash on the grill. It's just so unique.

No not all of them do. But you can cut the holes in the cover that are marked and install the lights.

All the bumpers have marks for where the lights would go.

Don't know for sure. My sons 850 doesn't have them. I would think that they are not prewired for fogs.

Yes they are prewired for fogs.
As most of you know on the wifes car I installed the R bumper.
I am putting the foglights in.
You will need the foglights,2 relays one inside and a headlight relay,(to switch the fogs off when the highbeams are on) and the fuse I believe.

I haven't fully finished installing the lights on her car. Still trying to find the headlight relay for foglights.

So the wife has the white and you have the yellow one? Sounding more and more like me every day. Who drives the Mustang now? I guess you are trying to sell the Cutlass.
