No gas to the head
 

I just replaced my head gasket in my 96 850 T5 turbo and everything is working great it gets spark, compression. timing is good. injectors read voltage, only problem is that I'm getting no gas to the "bar". I compromized the gas system when I replaced the head gasket by detaching the fuel lines at the base of the engine and leaving them as such for 2 days.

I figured the lines would fill back up after running the fuel pump (you can hear it run), if not that then by depressing the pin at the end of the "bar" would release the pressure and remove any air in the line. I used a nail to depress the pin while I kept the fuel pump running by turning the key from position "0"-"ii" and back to "0" when the pump stopped. I did that for what seamed like a minutes or 2 and never saw any fuel...

Another thing, there are two fuel lines running to the "bar" the line attached to the vacuum line has fuel (it leaked some fuel when the hose was bent).

Any suggestions?

One line is the fuel supply line (the one that goes directly to the fuel rail) and the other is the fuel return line (the one that comes off of the fuel pressure regulator). The fuel pressure regulator is the device that has the vacuum line hooked up to it.

If the fuel pump is pumping it will clear any air out of the system by itself.

Are you sure that you have gas in the tank? I can see a scenario where all of the fuel could get siphoned from the tank if you didn't cap the lines.

That's what it as, I switched the fuel lines. it was pumping fuel to the pressure regulator and nothing to the fuel supply. it starts now.
