Orange Arrow on Dashboard
I have recently purchased a 1995 850 turbo wagon. I have noticed that , as on many automatics, there is the orange/red arrow in the dash thats either indicates when it is in a gear lower than Drive, or when it is basically telling you to move up in gears (I believe). I notice that it comes on now even when I am driving slowly in Drive (at low RPM's). Sometimes it will go away if I toggle from Sport Mode to Economy Mode, but only sometimes. Does anyone have any idea what this may mean? If it is a malfunction of the dash or some sensor? Or if I should take it in to a mechanic? Thanks for your time.
|
Orange Arrow on Dashboard
I thought it was an indicator that your car is in winter mode / traction control.

Orange Arrow on Dashboard
Found the manual, apparently something is wrong with the transmition. Will update when I take it on. It was just replaced, or re-built about a year ago.
