Passenger Side Dash
I've got a '93 850 GLT that I just turned over to my son to drive. I just got done replacing the blower motor and once I discovered that the knee bolster had to be removed, it was an easy fix.
My question is this: The support underneath the Glove Box door has been broken/loose ever since I have owned the car. You kind of have to lift up on the glove box door to close it. Any suggestions on a repair, or is there a possibility of finding one of these entire panels?? Thanks in advance for your help. I've learned a lot on this forum. |

You could possibly fabricate a new support, or repair the old one by using some flat stock metal

I've thought about that. How would I go about doing, just attach it with screws on either end and the existing support? Probably some aluminum stock would work the best.

RE: Passenger Side Dash
You could either make it go from the top hinge area all the way down to where the lower panel attaches and use one of those screws to help support it as well. Or make it for the hinge area then glue the other side onto the plastic.
