reliability of the 850T w/ high miles

Hey guys. I currently drive a 96 miata and am a college student. I really want to buy a new car that gets good gas mileage, is a safe car, and is still fun to drive. I have always loved sweedish cars, especially volvos. I was on my way home from work today and saw a '95 850turbo on sale for 4200$. It is in very nice condition but has 162,000 miles on it. If it were a miata I would not worry one bit as my miata has about 165,000 miles on it with only a few small, easily fixable problems. What is the life of these cars like? It seems that they are very reliable. I have only driven a GLE version but will get to test drive this car tomorrow. What kind of price range should I look at? I want to spend around 4k$. Any advice is welcome.

RE: reliability of the 850T w/ high miles

I service and do minor repairs on cars with close to and over 300,000 miles.
Search the 850 section on the normal things that go wrong on these cars.
