selling 1995 850 GLT N/A
well hello people of this forum. I am looking to sell my 850 GLT N/A. it has 134,xxx miles and still runs great. I am third owner of this car and have owned for 7 months. got it for my birthday and loved it but the repair costs out up the ying yang since it is European. I cant afford it on a no job salary so looking to sell my baby. Clean title the 2 guys before me were an old man and a 19 year old father so pretty safe drivers. I am 17 but havent torked the engine because im not stupid. the exterior is on great shape for how old it is. a few scratches here and there a big one on the underside on the front lip and back bumper. but other than that nothing big. no engine things done to it so all stock. interior is in fantastic condition. all leather, no tears,no scratches on dash or on center console.
Exterior 7/10 Interior 9/10 Now to the price, blue book says 2,800. im not going to BS you i am looking for 2,400 becuase of the oil leak. if i get the leak fixed before you contact me, i am going to look for around 2,600. all of these ofers are negotiable but i will not I repeat WILL NOT go below 2,100. if you have any question further about the car message me and we can talk through there or i will give you my email and or phone number and we can talk further. thank you for looking. |
If all the service/maintenance is up to date, your selling price is reasonable. By service/maintenance, I mean:
Timing belt, tensioner, idler; serpentine belt PCV system - the whole system replaced Recent full tuneup (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, all filters & fluids changed oil/antifreeze/transmission) Brakes, exhaust, suspension not near needing any attention If you can't vouch for all of this, you probably won't get 2100. |
x2.
i can get a 1997 t5 with 100k miles , comes with winter tires/rims for $1500. |
turbo or no turbo
I thought that the glt was a light pressure turbo, how can it be N/A ??????
yea it is a light pressured turbo
The early model glt were n/a i believe.
only year of the 850 GLT's to have a LPT was 97. 96 and below were N/A
So, will you take $2,100 for it? Do you have pics?
Take $2,100 or move it to the classifieds
the 95 GLT was not alight pressure tubro or else i would listed it. and if it was i would be keeping it. i want something a little bit faster better on gas, smaller. just easier for a high school student to keep. its a big car and i love it but it needs to go.
i will upload some when i get my camera fixed. i will most likely take 2,100 for it yes.
Just sayin...my uncle's 1993 850 GLT sedan is N/A...so not ALL GLT's are LPT.
Sorry if I am repeating something most likely already said in above posts. I'm just being lazy.;) |
