Default Service light/bad milage

1997 855 t-5 with 133k miles

my service light comes on for about 1 min than goes off every time i start the car i been getting ****ty milage for the last month had new plugs wires cap rotor oil change i done full tune up about 3 months ago any 1 have any ideas thanx

The is a Service Light, which tells you when to change your oil and a Check Engine Light which means you have a code in the ECU. It sounds like you your light is just the service light, which is not an issue. Your bad mileage could be a few things, more then likely a vacuum leak. I would check all the intake hoses and lines for cracks and leaks and repair them as you find them.

how crappy is crappy gas mileage? currently im only averaging upper teens in my 95 turbo wagon

well im getting like 15 city/highway and i was getting 21 city/highway

i will check for leaks but the oil if fine hope its just a leak thanx for input

Yea that is pretty bad.I get 25-28ish hwy when just cruising and around 15-19 if Im driving hard.
Thats with 17psi tune,OBX turboback etc.

yea i never seen more than 24 i think dont even drive hard
