Just had my oil changed, and I noticed immediately the temp guage not working. Could the shop have messed up(they have already denied it, but are willing to 'look' at it) or is it just coincidence. And what could be the causes if it just went? Thanks in advance.

 

Check the connection to the ECT sensor. Is your radiator fan running constantly?

The ECT sensor is the device directly below the thermostat that screws into the lower thermostat housing.
