Turbo kicks in early in park.

Turbo kicks in early in park.
So I was reving my engine, and the turbo kicks in almost immediately. Which is not right.
I remember I did this back a couple months ago, and when I revved the engine, there would be no turbo in the "black" and turbo once it hit the white or at least a louder sound once it hit the white.
Now however, the turbo kicks in immediatly when i'm in the black. It doesn't even go up to the white.
I read the code yesterday, and apparently I have an RPM sensor problem (Crankshaft position sensor). Could the turbo kicking in early be attributed to this problem, or is it an entirely new problem?

Possibly if the computer disabled some of the systems due to the code being present.
Also is the boost control valve good.
Do you have higher boost?

I think my turbo kicks in fine when i'm driving though, but i'm not compeltely sure.

But up top you said you have a guage on the dash. If you had more boost the guage would go higher.

On the highway, the car seems to be normal, with the guage going to white and stuff.
P.S. I thought you were referring to a boost guage which tells me how much boost I got. But I gotcha now.

Could this be that my broken RPM sensor is making the turbo kick in early?
The RPM sensor is sending incorrect info, and the car thinks that it's time to boost/
Btw, how hard it is to replace the RPM sensor/Crankshaft position sensor and how much would this part cost?

^Ok. I was talking to my friend. Could it possibly be the plugs? (I'm reading a transmission code 3-1-1 which has to do w/ the RPM sensor). My friend said it might be the plugs (?).
Where does the part go? In the crankshaft? Because that is hard to get at (?)..

Ok, from what I understand, the RPM sensor/Crankshaft position sensor is located below the airbox and it's relatively easy to replace?
So do I just remove the airbox, unscrew the nut/bolt (whatever is holding it) and then replace it? Sounds like a quick job?
