Volvo 850 2.5 10v fault code 243
 

Hi,

I have a volvo 850 2.5 10v and the engine management light is coming on.

So had it plugged on and its coming up with a fault code 243, bad signal tps.

So have bought a new sensor and have fitted it had codes erased amd the code is come back again

please help

have you disconnected the battery to reset it or just cleared the codes?

The code was both erased from the scanner and tryed the battery reset.

There are no running problems with the car it self, the engine management light come on and just ignored it but now its due for its MOT and wont pass with the light on
