Default Volvo 850 No Start, No Spark, Good Fuel Pressure

My buddy has a '95 Volvo 850 that is having issues starting while warm. When the car cools down, it fires right up. This problem is intermittent but predictable.

The car also has trouble with the OBD-1 PORT reading codes. We think we see a code that indicates that the ECU may be over heating. Any suggestions?

The A/B box isn't an OBD-I port.

What code are you getting and on what pin?

Rather than remember the specific terminology for each manufacturers ALDL the generally accepted term for all of them including that A/B box is OBD-I port. In Volvo speak it might be an A/B box but I think it's like saying Crescent wrench and adjustable wrench.
Or asking for a Kleenex and someone not giving you one because they have puffs.

Quote from Wiki:
1991:[1] The California Air Resources Board (CARB) requires that all new vehicles sold in California in 1991 and newer vehicles have some basic OBD capability. These requirements are generally referred to as "OBD-I", though this name is not applied until the introduction of OBD-II.
