Wagon rear seat latches
My seatbelts lock up when I fold the rear seat down in my wagon. I read a post about unbolting the seatbelt to get the seat back up, thereby resetting the release mechanism. It worked, but as soon as I put the seat down again it locks the seatbelt again. Then I have to go through the unbolting process to put the seat back up.
I get that this is a common problem, but I haven't seen a fix. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms, so if somebody could point me in a direction, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

Work and other projects got in the way of taking the pics, uploading the pic, posting the pics, etc, etc. Low priority thing, you know?
Anyway...
Once I put the seat down, the seat belt mechanism locks and I can only raise the seat back up this far.

If I unbolt the belt where it attaches to the floor, and put the seat up, once it's locked into place the mechanism releases.

I pull the belt out, bolt it back to the floor, and from that point it functions normally. Once I put the seat down again, I have to go through the process again to put it back up.

So I'm guessing something is broken in the lock mechanism. Last time I had this problem I just swapped the seatback with one from another car, but I don't have one laying around currently.
I had found a thread on Matthews started by someone with the same problem, but I don't recall there being a fix posted at the time. Now I can't seem to find it.
So there's gotta be a fix, right? Any thoughts appreciated.
