water in the trunk???
Everytime it rains, I have water in the bottom of my trunk where the spare tire is. I took the drain tubes that are connected on both sides of the trunk that drain the water along the top edge of the trunk, cleaned them out, and put clamps on them to hold them up. Now, I still am getting water in the trunk. What could be the problem?
Another way to check for leaks is to sprinkle baby powder all over the seal and stuff like that and soak the trunk with water and see if you can see missing baby powder.
Also could be a bad taillight seal.

There are two drains in the rain gutter surrounding the trunk. These drains feed tubes that are connected inside the trunk and run down underneathe the car. If they clog or become loose, water will enter the trunk.

Where are the drains for the sun roof? Please be a little specific on the location, and also how to see if they are open, or not... meaning how do I unclog them, and check to make sure they are unclogged.
Open your sunroof all the way.You can only see the 2 front ones they are in the corners look for a hole.
Then take a cup of water adn dump into the area near the drains adn look for the water to come out from under the car.
Test the fronts first then park on an incline or jack up the front and then dunp more water in and watch fro water to come out from the back of the car.If it is clogged try to get some compressed air and blow through the lines.
BUT be careful with the pressure. You don't want to blow any hoses off the sunroof assembly.
When you dump the water make sure you dump on the outside of the tracks and dump it slowly then it will not leak inside at all.

Okay, I haven't checked the sunroof yet, but I did find that there was a lot of water leaking in right at the trunk lock. I took off the cover in the trunk, sprayed some water on the trunk, and the water was leaking in right through the trunk lock. I made a make-shift funnel (so-to-speak) out of a flat piece of plastic that I got from a CD movie cover. I drilled a hole in it, took off the screw that holds the bracket on for the lock, and placed the plastic inside of the trunk sheet metal, and then screwed it in. It now comes thru the lock, and runs down the plastic into the inside of the trunk where there are weep holes for water. If this was not there, than the lock, being longer that the inside of the sheet metal trunk, would alow water to run onto the carpeted cover, and right down into the trunk... it's hard to explain, but if you take off the plastic push screws you will see what I mean. I tried to spray the trunk, and so far I have no water. I will check the sun roof just to be sure, and I will let you know. I will also take a picture of it so you guys know what I'm talking about.
