Where is the rear window washer motor?

Mine doesn't seem to be working. The switch seems to work as the wiper starts when I press it.

RE: Where is the rear window washer motor?

Underneath the washer reservoir. Remove it by working through the wheel arch.

Also check the non-return valve/filter which is located under the right side floor panel in the luggage area. This sometimes clogs and stops the flow of water.

yeah, it's inside the reservior. the rear washer is sort of an add-on.

Yah ,,, I know the thread is five years old just adding a picture of the rear windows pump in case anyone else ends up here doing research on it (like me today) :D

The bumper in off in the picture but you don't need to remove it to get to the pump.

Good stuff and still pertinent in 2018!
Does is slide in or bolt in? Quite hard to tell from the location image.

At about 1:50 it shows how you tip it out at the bottom a little and then push it up to release.

I should have known Robert had it posted. :)
I went at it solo yesterday and got it all handed.
My mount would not slide up as I tried that so I just opened the two retainers carefully and pulled it out the bottom.. I guess that pump is installed upside down as ours is factory and the hoses are on the bottom and the Molex was on top. Heading out on a 1700 mile trek tomorrow and did not want to break the mount so I left the mount in wagon and worked the pump down and out of the bottom of the mount.
Installed functional donor pump.
Check valve in D Pillar was clogged.
Filter (one way design) at rear was full of the nastiest blue chunks of poo I have ever seen. Flushed, shook and re-flushed that a few times in the sink.
Blew the lines out then replaced the one way valve in the D pillar with a T off the donor top pump. A short hose and a screw inserted into the hose with a tie wrap around it capped off the 3rd fitting of the T. Wrapped that modification in some closed cell foam and put a tie wrap around that to prevent rattles of the screw head.
Finally works like new and l learned the rear washer system from tank to tail.

I went at it right after posting my previous comment so your comment and link are much appreciated for future reference. Merry Christmas!
