Winter Help with 850 GLT needed

Hi everyone. I need help. I found out one thing about my Volvo I don't like. Considering that she was built in Sweden and all...snow country..they should have had a better design, I think. Anyhow what do I do if the windshield wiper/wash nozzles are frozen solid in our awesome Michigan 9deg-19deg weather that we are having these past few days????? I have the purple washer fluid good to -25deg yada yada yada...but it's still frozen. Anyway to thaw the lines out so my washers work???

Question #2. Where can I get my hands on a lower air guide for a 97 850 GLT? Mine had an incedent. I was teaching my wife how to drive, and she aimed for a fire hydrant. Needless to say the hydrant won and my Volvo lost. I have thus far replaced the whole bumper assy (the plastic cover/valance, the aluminum reinforcement bar, the header panel also plastic), now I need the air guide and a hood latch and a RHS splash guard to make the car purrfect again.

Most times, the fluid is only frozen in the last one inch or so of line. Washer fluid is a mixture of water and alcohol. The alcohol tends to evapoarate from the nozzle opening leaving a higher concentration of water which then freezes. Get a hair dryer and warm up the ends of the hose. The only way to keep from freezing again is to use the washer regularly to keep the fluid fresh at the tips.

-25 is not enough, when your driving and its -20 imagine what it is when your doing 55.

i use like -50 stuff, never had a problem, becides there being ice on the hood blocking the sprayer.
