I just ordered and installed a new wiper arm assembly linkage and wiper arms on my 1994 850 and everything went great. The problem is when they automatically shut off they stop in the up position. Has anyone seen this and what is the fix?

 

Windshield wipers? Headlight wipers? Were motors in the correct place when you installed them?

 

I have been operating with only the drivers side wiper for a while until it also stripped out. I never coticed anything wrong with the motor. I reinstalled the old motor onto the new linkage along with the two new windshield wiper arms. Once I realized they went on ina certain position, I though I was done. And then when I turned it on to intermitent they stop when they are up and not stowed. But they work fine.?????
