2010 C30 Starting Issues

I bought mine in April 2012, I am second owner. It was bought directly from the dealer previously a leased car. And within the first 3 months there started to e an issue where I would turn turn the ignition and only the electrics would come on and the engine does not turn over, and when I do it the second time it comes on. It alsways works on the second try.
I kept a log on an excel spreadsheet of each occurance date, time and how many miles it was driven before hand. I even got the dealer and Volvo USA involved and the dealer kept the car for one day and said they could reporudce it even though I told them it doesn't happen everyday as SHOWN ON THE SPREADSHEET.
At first the manufacutr was helpful but then got all snotty is the best word to describe it and no longer helpful and told me basically to make sure I'm turning on the car right. I then stopped keeping track since I saw i would recieve no help but it still continues, my uncle said this happened to a Volvo he bought in the 70's and it has something to do with the way the cars are made. Any suggestions on what I should do? Buy a new starter or change all the plugs and wires?

There is nothing in common between this car and a 70s Volvo.

I would guess the ignition switch.. Certainly not the spark plugs and there are no plug wires.

no offense but the spreadsheet that you brought then really doesn't matter. If they cant reproduce the problem then the cannot correctly diagnose the problem. Same with here, with ES6T's and my dealership experience we can tell you that it sounds like an ignition switch, but without having the car acting up in front of us those are our opinions not a correct diagnosis.
