Am I being ripped off? Maintenance/repair bill

*2002 C70 Turbo Convertible 90K miles*

It's me, mr. naive again. So I took my C70 into the shop to get a "used car check up" done (I purchased it a week ago) and I got the outcome today. Can somebody please tell me if I should authorize these charges??

I have a small window leak on the passenger side window. I was told that its some kind of actuator or something that aligns the window. Charge: 369.00

Timing belt: 650.00

Fuel Filter - 99.00

Air Filter: 79.00

Tire rotation and balance: 24.95

Power Steering flush: 160.00

Cooling flush: 149.50

Total: 1,695.72

Services are being done by my local Volvo dealer.

Is this reasonable?? I feel like this is awfully expensive for such simple things. Am I just being cheap?

Any opinions are GREATLY appreciated!

Those prices are on the cheaper side for Dealer work.
The 2 flushes seem a little high though.
The window seems about right(For dealer) About 3 hours labor to remove and adjust everything.
T-belt seems on the cheaper side.
If you can do any work on cars then you can save money and do the air and fuel filter your self.

Fidelis,

The dealer's quote for the timing belt is low. They probably are not including new pulleys/tensioner, or a water pump. At 90,000 miles, these items are worn out, and they would doing you a gross disservice because they'd come back to haunt you. I think closer to $1,000 would include the extra parts.

The power steering flush cost is outrageous.

If this is an automatic transmission car, you really need to replace the fluid now if it's dirty. Mine operated MUCH better after the flush, I used synthetic fluid, too. It's money in the bank.
