Default coolant leaking

hi im new too the site and ive just bought a volvo c70 2,0 turbo ( 2000model ) and ive just noticed theres water dripping from the engine it seems to be coming from somwhere near the large pully / wheel on the top of the drivers side ( right hand as its uk ) am i right thinking thats the water pump ? the coolants dripping onto the belt and im worried about driving it as i dont want the belt to snap its not dripping onto the cam belt but its the other belt , the one with the lines not the teeth on it , sorry for the useless discriptions of the belts etc im not to hot under a engine but does any1 know what this problem could be ?

any ideas on the problem would be great

cheers

If it is coming from the middle of the engine I would think water pump as well. If it is higher up I would think a hose.
