Purchased a Valley hitch from Ebay and found a converter box that NO BATTERY CONNECTION REQUIRED. IT TOOK 1/2 HOUR TO CONNECT THE CONVERTER BOX.
The hitch took longer than the 20 min. the ad and Valley says. I guess the hitches are welded in a standard jig but not for a Volvo with 80,000 miles. I had to loosen two bumper bolts and use a jack to install. I also had to enlarge one hole but the install was not that hard.
I took my wave runner trailer out for a drive and towed fine and all the lights worked great.
