Just put in aftermarket HID ( Xenon ) lights in 2009 C70. Also-how do you aim lights?
 

So just put in xenons in a non-factory HID 2009 C70. Work great. Nice and Bright.

Finding a really annoying "Floating Black Phantasm Shadow" following me around everywhere and getting in the way of the lights right in my driver's side line of vision. Made it seem like I could barely see 100ft in front of me.

I thought it might be a ground shadow from the ground of the bulb.

Swapped a new HID Bulb from another uninstalled kit. No change.

I really just think now I need to raise the headlights up and am getting the cutoff pattern from the US driver's side.

Against a garage there is a nice even line (car has factory projector housing obviously). Shadow or pattern is not noticable at close range against garage.

I've spent way too long looking up how to adjust headlights.

I didn't get an Owners Manual.

Tried searching and googled owners manual.

Anyone help??

what kit did you use? just curious since i'd heard about wiper motors getting burnt out and error message without some sort of additional device between the aftermarket hids and the c70/c30/s40s.
