need power steering fluid @ 19,500 miles?
 

Have had my 2002 C70 Coupe for 3 weeks now. I noticed earlier in the week and most noticably today(when i didn't have the music pumping as usual), when the car is cold, and i goto make a left turn, i heard an odd moaning/whining sound. i'm not applying too much gas when making the turn. i don't hear it at all after the car has warmed up. when i got to work i checked out the power steering fluid and saw that there really wasn't too much in there. not even enough for the dip-stick cap to touch(i checked it agian when it was cold, same).

question is, is it normal that my 2002 car with under 20k miles on it should need power steering fluid?

car goes into service in 2 days BTW.

Check where the big hose attaches at the bottom of the resivoir they are known to leak there.The dealer will either install a new clamp or a new hose and clamp.

or maybe even a new power steering pump. I had the same problem, the only problem I have ever had with my C70, it was a loose bearing in the p.s. pump and I had to replace that and the hose.
