Rocker panel cover removal 2009 C70
 

Need to remove rocker cover to repaint. Mirror covers also. I don't want to break things that I shouldn't. Does anyone know how to remove rocker cover? Also does this cover attatch with the type of clips that are one use only, and break upon removal? If so I need to order before doing the work on this. Any help would be appreciated.

Apparently nobody knows how to get rocker panel cover off 06 to 10 C70. I got it off, so I will explain how it's done. Remove the eight push pins in the trough on the bottom of the rocker panel. Remove the three star screws in the lower front wheel opening near the rocker panel. Do the same at the rear of the rocker panel near the wheel opening. Open car door and take off the trim panel that says Volvo. A pry tool will pop it up. Remove the four push pin fasteners under the sill plate. Use a plastic pry tool to pry the rocker panel cover from the quarter panel. 3 plastic Clips will pop out when pryed at the rear and two at the front.rocker cover will then come off the car. Hope this helps someone in the future.
