Hi All

I have a 2000 C70. I am getting an intermittent "trunk open" light on the dash.

When this occurs, I can't move the convertible top. This is an inconvenience when it is raining.

Can someone tell me if the switch is intergral to the latch mechanism and,if so, can it be repaired/rebuilt?

Did you ever find out how to fix this or what the issue is? My 2004 is doing the same and without the million dollars Volvo wants to diagnose it I'd rather try and fix it myself.
