Turbo air intake hose?
 

Yesterday I blew one of the hoses off in my engine while I was driving. I'm not entirely sure what the correct name for it is, but I believe its the turbo air intake hose. It connects the turbo to the airbox. I've been looking online and I can't seem to find a new one anywhere, anyone have any idea where I can buy one where it wont be too expensive? I have a 2001 c70 convertible. Any suggestions would help and be appreciated.

can you post a pick of which hose you are referring to? You can try finding the part number using online dealer stores (ie Tascaparts.com is one I use for the best dealer part prices) for diagrams or Volvo friendly sites like FCP Euro or EEuroparts.

The connection between the turbo and the air box is a plastic pipe and it is not under any type of pressure, just suction.

If it did come off, you will have to see if the pipe broke or if the connection was not tight.

If that's the hose that you need, they are available all over eBay used.
