Wear on Convertable

I have a few spots on my top that are looking worn and developing holes. The wear sheems to be around the major folds. What should I do?? Should I fill the soon to be first layer holes with something???

You can only 'patch' a convertible top. The alternative is to replace it and you are looking at big bucks!!! Patches are ok if you have a Chevrolet but look truly tacky on a Volvo. Talk to a repair shop.
