so in the us does the recall cover 2001? my car just went out of warranty in april..............
i expereince both of those problems.............
water leaks from the seal at the back window.

the stealership held my car untill the warranty expired while repairing this, had a big problem with them so i am not willing to go back to them to get it readjusted(plus i moved a couple hours away so long drive too). different dealer maybe?

 

The c70 is the most expensive auto that Volve sells...............................but the warranty is just as abysmal as the 40 series. I highly suspect that Volvo will not retroactively honor the seat belt issue! I do not have that problem with mine although I have very few miles on the auto as I use it as my winter beater and airport 'parker'. I truly expect to keep mine for several more years as I do enjoy the appearance................I simply swallow when I take it to the dealer..............which is more often than either a Japanese or German auto.

 

If they just worked on them then you should have a 12/12 warranty on what they just did.
