2022 XC60 Battery Symbol Meaning

Does anyone know what the symbol to the left of the battery means on a 2022 XC60 Recharge Extended Battery? The symbol pops up periodically then disappears. Thanks. |
That means that the system is in "auto" mode for battery usage and is optimizing usage based on the current route in Google Maps. The system uses the ICE more on highways, where the engine is efficient, and saves the battery for slower and stop/start sections of the trip.

Distribute the electrical energy as energy-efficiently as possible for the whole mileage using Google Maps. In the driving position Hybrid the car is powered by both the electric motor and the internal combustion engine. If a destination has been selected in Google Maps, the car calculates how the electrical energy should be distributed as energy-efficiently as possible for the whole mileage. For example, the calculation includes speed limits, traffic, and elevation differences. |
