XC90 Range on Pure mode
Hello,
I’m back to a Volvo after 3 years of owning a Q5, previously has a ‘17 XC90 T8 hybrid. I just purchased a XC90 recharge and have driven it for a week. The first 100% charge gave me 51 mile range on Pure. Then I noticed that next charge only gave me 45 mile range now I’m getting 40 mile range on a full 100% charge??
Is this a ecu problem or computer problem? I’m also charging at home on a 220 plug. Thanks

What's interesting to me is that Volvo quotes only 32 miles of electric range for the XC-90 ReCharge. It's possible that the computer is adjusting the predicted range based on actual driving, such that the higher early projections were in error. If you're getting anything in the range of 30 miles on a charge, I think that it's likely all is well.
It's been a few more weeks - what type of range are you getting now?
Here's a link to the page on the Volvo site where they claim 32 miles in pure mode.

Yes, I have talked to the dealer and their response was that the computer adjust to the driving characteristic and give the range on 100% charge. They said if it continues to fall to bring it in and they will check it. So far I’m getting like 38 miles?
